Alberni Clayquot Regional District, 2022 - 2023

Project: Organizational cultural engagement initiative working with cross departmental staff to identify purpose (why we do things), build understanding organizational dynamics and the implications for collaborative cross departmental actions and yearly strategic priorities.

Project: Provided strategic engagement support for OCP Zoning Bylaw update.

Project: Fire Service engagment involved fire service to provide input into review process. 

 

City of Chillwack, Public Safety and Social Development, 2023

Engaged safety partners, community-based health and housing organizations, and people with lived experience in dialogues to build a deeper understanding and work together to formulate new approaches to ongoing issues, concerns and escalating tensions in the community.

SD 42 Maple Ridge - Pitt Meadows, 2023

Working with internal management team, the Ministry of Education and architects our firm designed the stakeholder and public engagement plan for Eric Langton Elementary seismic replacement project.

City of Powell River, Tla'min Nation, qathet Regional District, 2022
Developed a community engagement strategy that included dialogues with community, lived experience circle, and non-profit organizational workshops to understand perspectives on health and housing issues to support collaboration and community action.
School District 42, Facilities Planning, 2021-2022
Developed the Public Engagement Plan and supported community, partner and stakeholder virtual workshops and other engagement activities to update the long-range facilities plan. 
City of Maple Ridge, Community Social Safety Initiative, 2021
Strategic engagement advising and support for virtual public meeetings to engage the community and gather input to inform the development of a Community Social Safety Plan.
District of Squamish, CLImB Project, June 2017 - March 2018

Working with the CAO and through a cascading approach involving senior managers, management and supervisors developed the unique CLImB employee engagement process and program to foster a culture of innovation, demonstrate continual improvement in customer service and efficiency involving current projects.

Town of Qualicum Beach, March 2015 - September 2017

Provided ongoing strategic engagement advice, facilitated stakeholder workshops and public information meetings for the development of the Waterfront Master Plan and a separate Official Community Plan review process. 

Urban Academy: New Westminster, January - October 2016

Developed and implemented an engagement strategy for the 100 Braid Street, Urban Academy re-development 

School District 38: Richmond, March 2015 - December 2016

Trustees need to make a decision on which schools to close to ensure facilities are used in an effective and fiscally responsible way. We worked with Staff and Trustees to develop a comprehensive engagement strategy that includes face-to-face and online engagement of the public, education, community partners and other stakeholders as part of long-range facilities master planning. 

School District 43: Coquitlam, August 2013 to December 2013

Worked with Staff and Trustees to develop a community engagement strategy and to facilitate a Local Government meeting, an Open House, and four public dialogues to inform land management decisions and long term facilities planning.

School District 42: Maple Ridge Pitt Meadows, February 2015 - June 2016

Working with Staff and Trustees to develop and implement engagement strategy as part of facilities and program planning. The engagement includes public, education partner, and local government workshops to inform the long term facilities plan and the visioning of a new school and neighbourhood learning centre.

District of West Vancouver - Cultural Facilities Study 2005 - 2006

In conjunction with Aldrich Pears Associates, Commonwealth Historic Resource Management, and Hotson Bakker Boniface Haden Architects, our firm conducted stakeholder research and interviews, facilitated workshops and open houses with stakeholders and potential partners as part of a cultural facilities study to develop an art, cultural and heritage precinct on the waterfront in West Vancouver.
