This group of organizations retained our firm and associates to understand current participation in arts, cultural and heritage activities in North Vancouver and to examine the factors that influence decision making to attend (or not attend) cultural venues and events.
Our firm along with team members from ConsumerScan and Small Planet Consulting undertook a series of independent and yet related market research surveys and conduct analysis: of patrons, residents and out of town visitors in North Vancouver. This included focus groups with diverse members of the community, telephone and in person surveys at tourism locations, performance venues, and cultural facilities. This research was supplemented with in-depth analysis of trends, market research, tourism and cultural data that informed the development of programming and marketing strategies to expand audiences. The recommendations also included strategies to develop more effective, joint marketing initiatives, undertake strategic partnerships to target the shared audience base and develop the arts in North Vancouver.
