|District of West Vancouver - Cultural Facilities Study 2005 - 2006|
|Public Sector >>|
In conjunction with Aldrich Pears Associates, Commonwealth Historic Resource Management, and Hotson Bakker Boniface Haden Architects, our firm conducted stakeholder research and interviews, facilitated workshops and open houses with stakeholders and potential partners as part of a cultural facilities study to develop an art, cultural and heritage precinct on the waterfront in West Vancouver.
The study area focused on the stretch of Argyle Avenue and the Ambleside waterfront between Ambleside Park (13th Street) to the east and 18th Street to the west. The comprehensive report included an analysis and summary of open house feedback and other research. The report defined programming, the physical context in terms of site and buildings (heritage and architectural assessments), the organizational structure and the implementation plan.
