Facilitated a policy forum at the Association's Annual Conference for regional exploration groups, directors, committee chairs and members to review and discuss AME BC's five Guiding Principles and Top Seven Issues facing BC mineral exploration industry in 2010.

Sea to Sky Community Services, 2010

A geographically diverse agency, our role was to engage staff, management and the board in the annual strategic planning process, as well as facilitate the board and management strategic planning.

Winds of Change: A Community to Community Forum, 2009

Facilitated a one day forum between the community's of Mt. Currie and Pemberton. Residents and politicians collaborated to identify what has worked, what have we learned, and what needs to happen to increase awareness, foster commitment, and engage our communities in reducing the harm associated with drugs and alcohol. The process utilized a cafe process, focused discussion and action planning.

Association of Professional Engineers & Geoscientists, 2008
Developed the process design in consultation with the Association and facilitated a one-day planning meeting to gather input on initiatives of Council from the Association’s Past Presidents.

Sunshine Coast Women’s Dialogue, 2008
Facilitated a discussion on issues of importance to women on the Sunshine Coast amongst 120 women from diverse social, economic and cultural backgrounds. The Dialogue process was designed to empower women and encourage them to become more actively involved in the decision-making processes within their communities.

West Vancouver & North Shore Community Foundations, 2008

This facilitated workshop connected representatives from North Shore businesses, environmental organizations and local government to focus on the economic, social and environmental benefits of fostering communication and partnerships in developing sustainability programs on the North Shore


Mining Association of British Columbia – Multi Year Strategic Planning & Committee Development, 2006 & 2007
Our firm has worked with the MABC for the past two years facilitating planning workshops and meetings for internal staff and stakeholder committees that assist the Association in exploring industry issues and the implications for the association, brainstorming future directions, identifying new opportunities, and setting priorities for the upcoming year. 

ASPECT - Association of Service Providers for Employability and Career Training – Preparing for the Canada – BC Labour Market Development Agreement, 2007.
Facilitated a one-day forum for 150 participants from 130 agencies across British Columbia to prepare the industry for a new Labour Market Development Agreement in B.C. The facilitated process assisted participants to identify key elements of a service provision delivery system and to identify next steps in terms of pilot projects, advocacy, education, and communication initiatives.

Whistler Forum: Forwarding the Communities Agenda – National Forum on Community Issues, 2007.
Facilitated a three-day forum that examined how to move the “communities agenda” identified in key reports to national strategic actions. The forum brought together community planning and sustainable city agencies, academics, federal bureaucrats, and political leaders to identify a framework and strategies for collaborating on a national scale.

Social Planning Council of Squamish, 2007
Facilitated strategic planning workshops with social service agencies, non-profits and community stakeholders to develop strategies to address complex social issues including children and youth, safety and security, housing, employment, poverty, environment and health, and cultural diversity.

BC Museum of Mining, Britannia – Strategic Planning & the Britannia Project, 2006

Our firm facilitated strategic planning for the Museum as it embarked on the redevelopment of the Britannia heritage site. Members of the board and staff identified opportunities and challenges as they move forward in partnership with the private sector and government agencies.
