North Vancouver Museum, 2009

We are working as part of a team with Hotson, Bakker, Boniface Haden Architects and Aldrich Pears Exhibit Designers and Planners to develop a vision for the Museum. Our role is to conduct research, manage community engagement and conduct preliminary partnership planning.  


BC Centre for Tourism, Leadership & Innovation; Capilano University; and Howe Sound Community Futures Development Corp. 2006 - 2007

Our firm worked with educational and tourism providers in the community to develop a strategy to position Squamish as a learning destination.

BC Hydro – Powertech Labs Inc. 2007 - 2008

Powertech Labs wanted to explore the feasibility of developing an Inspiration Centre & Communities Concept to increase awareness of energy conservation and available alternative energy technologies; to inspire audiences to adopt new sustainable energy behaviours and associated technologies; and to increase awareness of made-in-BC technologies and practices.

City of North Vancouver – Versatile Pacific Shipyards: National Maritime Centre for the Pacific and Arctic 2004 - 2006

The Vancouver Maritime Museum has endeavoured for many years to reinvent itself as a cultural resource of national stature.

District of West Vancouver – Cultural Facilities Study 2005 - 2006

In conjunction with Aldrich Pears Associates, Commonwealth Historic Resource Management, and Hotson Bakker Boniface Haden Architects, our firm conducted stakeholder research and interviews, facilitated workshops and open houses with stakeholders and potential partners as part of a cultural facilities study to develop an art, cultural and heritage precinct on the waterfront in West Vancouver.

District of West Vancouver – Arts & Cultural Strategy 2004

The District of West Vancouver undertook a significant review of its arts and cultural programs, plans, and strategies.

The City and District of North Vancouver, North Van Recreation Commission, Presentation House Theatre, North Vancouver Museum and Archives, BC Photography and Media Gallery, Capilano University Theatre Arts & Cultural Study 2003 - 2004

This group of organizations retained our firm and associates to understand current participation in arts, cultural and heritage activities in North Vancouver and to examine the factors that influence decision making to attend (or not attend) cultural venues and events.
